How Allison Used Multiple Streams of Income to Pay Off $100,000 of Debt!

We all know that debt can have you feeling stuck. Debt freedom sounds good, but it also sounds like a lot of work, and instead of paying it off, sometimes it can feel easier just to look the other way and live with it. But in reality, it’ll cost you in the long run, and that’s how so many Americans wind up living paycheck to paycheck.

But it’s still not too late! What if you’ve accumulated so much debt, you don’t even know what to do with it? Where do you get started? Well, keep listening!

We’re so excited to share this episode of the His & Her Money Show! Our good friend Allison Baggerly from Inspired Budget is here and she’s a bit of an expert on total debt elimination. You wouldn’t be surprised, because she and her husband paid off $100,000+ worth of debt in four years!

Now, she’s using her platform to help others, specifically, women, learn to eliminate debt and keep it gone for good through budgeting and taking total control of their finances — and you can learn too!

Back when it all started, Allison and her husband were resigned to their financial status. Student loans, car payments, and all the usual suspects made up their $111,108.29 debt, but they could live with that, right? Well, life happened, and being pregnant with their first child is what changed it all around.

They wanted to be able to provide for their growing family but it just wasn’t gonna happen with all that debt, so Allison didn’t just get inspired – she got MAD and she got BUSY. And in four and a half years, on two teacher’s salaries, and two kids later, they paid it all off!

Of course, it didn’t just end there. Months after their final debt payoff moment, Allison was still excited about it and she knew she needed an outlet to keep that momentum going. So, she started Inspired Budget, where she’s not just sharing her story.

But she’s helping others going through the same debt elimination experiences and lending a guiding hand through budgets, personal finance management, and so much more. Now she’s a full-time entrepreneur living that financial freedom lifestyle and sharing all those secrets to success!
